Family History and Madson Family Gathering

I I Haven’t touched this blog for 6 months. But I have been very busy the family history work . There are now upward of 300 family stories and tales that I have collected and a few that I have created. There are something like 3,000 Family “mug-shots” and old family photos. Our family tree now sports 18,500 forebears and relatives. Check it out at my Rognlie web site . I started this work maybe three years ago collecting information and researching my paternal line – the Rognlies. I still consider that my “primary” blood line and research line. But I have fleshed-out many many other important and very interesting lines, including one that goes back 64 generations from my sons Jason and Ethan!

We recently hosted a gathering of some of the West Coast Madson clan at our home in El Granada. I think it was kind of fun. Maybe now I will try something like a full family gathering, for a different branch of the family tree.
